BRASILIA, July 3 (Xinhua) -- Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff has vowed Rio 2016 will be a "historic" event after unveiling the Olympic torch on Friday.


The torch relay will begin at the Games' birthplace in Olympia, Greece, before embarking on its tour of Brazil in May 2016.
